CEO Sarah Ellerby interviewed on BBC Radio 5 Live

CEO Sarah Ellerby discussed the government’s Industrial Strategy green paper on BBC Radio 5 Live this morning. Clean energy industries is one of the eight growth-driving sectors identified in the strategy. She emphasised the importance of support for all regions and that Nova Pangaea Technologies (NPT) is based in Teesside, with the overall northern area growing as a SAF production site and decarbonisation hub.

She had an opportunity to discuss NPT’s technology, REFNOVA®, and the role it plays in the value chain of SAF production. The need for clean technologies in order to meet government and industry emission reduction and net zero goals. Government support through Advanced Fuels Fund type grants, SAF mandates and the forthcoming revenue certainty mechanism all aid a domestic SAF industry and support novel technologies such as ours. When asked about what is required for cleantech and scale-up success, she specified investment was essential and a blended approach of public and private sector financing matched by private investment.
