Nova Pangaea Technologies’ CEO, Sarah Ellerby, speaks to Shashank Nigam, CEO of SimpliFlying, on their Sustainability in the Air podcast.

“I welcomed the chance to discuss NPT’s REFNOVA® technology and its unique offering to displace fossil-based products and deliver a solution to decarbonising aviation, and a pathway to net zero. REFNOVA® produces 2G ethanol and biochar from sustainable non-food derived waste biomass feedstocks with a high lignocellulosic content. The 2G ethanol enables SAF production through the AtJ process. The biochar has multiple applications, but its value lies in its immediate ability to sequester CO₂ from the atmosphere, providing a net negative emissions end-to-end process.
